That's A Good Idea produced another gutsy frontrunning performance to win her third race from four starts, enhancing Joe Pride's autumn arsenal.
The four-year-old set the tempo as per usual in the Sydney City Toyota Benchmark 85 Handicap (1400m), kicked well in the straight and fought off all comers finishing half a length clear of fast-finishing pair Reunite and Bombsquad.
Pride hinted he might tuck the son of Flying Spur away for the rest of the spring to rest up for a tougher campaign next time in.
“He's a really nice horse, come the autumn time I've got no doubt he's going to be up to the Group races,” Pride said.
“That's all ahead of him. I've just been real happy this preparation, he's shown his real fighting quality and his fantastic speed.”
“I think he's pretty strong at 1400 and I'm not sure that was his best effort today.”
