The Stephen Theodore stable has been in outstanding form of late and will look to continue that run when Road Trippin' steps out at Caulfield on Wednesday.
Theodore has been training at almost a 20% winning strike rate this season with 50% of his runners finishing in the placings.
Road Trippin' heads into the Superior Food Service (90) Handicap on the back of a win in the Bairnsdale Cup last start, the same day Theodore took out the Benalla Cup with Flying Hussler.
Currently a $12 chance for the race, Road Trippin' will come up against a handy field which includes the current favourite Hosting who drops back in class after running a close fifth in the Group 2 Shannon Stakes.
Flemington based trainer Michael Moroney has also indicated his Group 3 placed mare Rhythm To Spare will be ready to go for the race after pulling up with Cardiac arrhythmia at Caulfield last start when not beating a runner home.
Better with some give in the ground, Moroney will be hoping for the track to stay on the softer side with the four-year-old gelding once again drawing wide.
Rhythm To Spare is currently second favourite for the race at $4.60.
