2017 EMANCIPATION STAKES: TIPS AND RACE PREVIEW
Good competitive renewal of the Group 2 Emancipation Stakes with a number of these mares more than capable.
Speed anticipated from Daysee Doom, Rocket Commander, Euro Angel and Extensible.
DAYSEE DOOM has been very good in both starts to begin this preparation and now appears set to peak racing third up. Will have no concerns with the wet-track and rates well down in the weights. Expected to roll forward and be in this for a long way.
Stablemate DIXIE BLOSSOMS had excuses when caught wide throughout in the Coolmore Classic last start and is clearly worth another chance. Effort prior was very impressive in the Guy Walter Stakes and she looms as a major threat despite the wide draw.
EXTENSIBLE returned in good order last start and with further improvement expected, she shapes as one of the main hopes.
