A half-sister to the Golden Slipper favourite King's Gambit and a brother to Verry Elleegant are among the lots that have been catalogued for this year's Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.

Inglis on Monday released the 457-lot catalogue for the sale that will take place at the Riverside complex at Warwick Farm on April 3 and 4.

The half-sister to King's Gambit will go through late as Lot 392 on Day 2 with Newgate and Gooree to offer the daughter of Snitzel and Encosta De Lago mare Sultry Feeling.

The brother to Verry Elleegant will also be offered on Day 2 with the colt by Zed out of Opulence to be offered by Lime Country Thoroughbreds.

A colt by Pariah out of Rekindled Applause, which makes him a three-quarter-brother to reigning The Everest winner Giga Kick, and a Snitzel half-sister to 2019 The Everest winner Yes Yes Yes are among the other lots to be offered.

There are also siblings to Group 1 winners including Hitotsu, Mazu, Private Eye, In The Congo, Artorius, Russian Revolution, Pride Of Dubai, Loving Gaby, Santa Ana Lane, Estijaab, Wild Ruler, Super Seth, Tagaloa, Mossfun, Booker and progeny from Group 1-winning mares including Catchy, English, Shoals and Miss Finland.

Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch is proud of the catalogue that has been compiled and said great opportunities exist for buyers.

"If you want to buy a top-class racehorse, the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale presents the best opportunity of any sale in Australasia and arguably the world," Hutch said.

"Two of the greatest myths in Australian racing are that the Easter Sale is too expensive for the average buyer, and that there are better opportunities to buy a good 2YO at the earlier Southern Hemisphere sales.

"To the first point, of the 31 G1-winning graduates Easter has produced since 2018, eight could have been purchased for $200,000 or less, the likes of Mizzy, Exceedance, Aristia, Land Of Plenty, Zoutori, Nettoyer, Quick Thinker and Funstar, while two in three Stakes winners out of the sale since 2018 could have been bought under sale average price.

"And to the second point, statistically, since 2017, buyers are 47% more likely to get a Group or Stakes-winning 2YO from the Easter Sale than they are from our closest major Australian competitor's primary sale in January.

"This is the sale for top-class colts, leading fillies, stallion prospects, broodmares-in-waiting, international success, you name it and Easter graduates will provide it.

"Buyers are in for a genuine treat at Riverside in April as Australia and New Zealand's best breeders offer their best yearlings of 2023.''

Snitzel is the stallion with the most entries with 40, one more than I Am Invincible, while Written Tycoon (32), Zoustar (25), Exceed And Excel (21) are well-represented with six youngsters by Extreme Choice to be offered.

First Season Sires including Too Darn Hot, Blue Point, Castelvecchio, Brutal, Exceedance, Magna Grecia, Pierata, Yes Yes Yes, Zousain, Omaha Beach and Brutal are also catalogued.

The digital catalogue is available here with hard copies to be available by early February.
