Group 2 winner and Group 1 placegetter to be offered this week.
Group 2-winner and Group 1-placed North Star Lass will be one of the headline lots of the next Inglis digital offering after her entry in the September (Early) Online Sale was confirmed on Monday.
The daughter of Zoustar will be highly sought-after at the sale, which will run from September 8 to 13.
Trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, the four-year-old has contested Stakes races at 10 of her 11 starts and is out of the Snitzel mare Sheila's Star, which makes her a relation to Group 1 winner Instant Celebrity and Hong Kong star Happy Healthy.
Her biggest win to date came in the Group 2 Furious Stakes (1200m) around this time last year, while she finished third in the Group 1 Flight Stakes (1600m).
"She's got a great temperament, a great constitution, a great appetite for work and has shown a great mental capacity to handle the pressure which is a feature of being trained to be a top-class two-year-old and three-year-old in Sydney,'' Bott said.
"She's got natural speed and her up-front racing pattern was her real asset, as well as her class which obviously got her to a Group 2 win and a Group 1 placing.
"We probably never really got to see the very best of her, but fortunately we saw enough of her to know she was right at that top level.
"She was one of the top fillies of her generation, she beat them on certain occasions and was never beaten far when they got the better of her. Her record really is against the best and she more than held her own.''
Entries for the September (Early) Online Sale close at midnight this Wednesday with bidding to commence on Friday this week.
