Maiden Group 1 win for hot young Darley stallion.
Too Darn Hot's first Australian progeny will not hit the track until later this season but the boom son of Dubawi is already a Group 1-winning sire.
Karl Burke-trained filly Fallen Angel provided the Darley stallion with his maiden success at the elite level when she won the Moyglare Stud Stakes (1408m) at The Curragh.
Danny Tudhope, who rode Fallen Angel to victory, expects Fallen Angel to be even better once she gets out to a mile with the 1000 Guineas a logical target.
"She'll probably be best when she steps up to a mile. She really does and I've been saying it all along," he said.
Fallen Angel was also Too Darn Hot's first winner, thanks to a debut win at Haydock in May, and now boasts a career record of three wins from four starts, having also won the Group 3 Sweet Solera Stakes (1408m) at Newmarket.
She is one of 14 individual winners for Too Darn Hot, who has produced two other Group winners; Darnation and Caroline Reaper.
Too Darn Hot, who stands for $44,000 at Darley's Kelvinside property in New South Wales, was one of the most popular first-season sires on the Australian yearling sale circuit earlier this year.
His standout lot was the filly out of Blue Diamond runner-up Enbihaar, who sold for $1 million at Magic Millions in January, where his youngsters averaged $276,786 while they averaged $236,429 at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale three months later.
He served 130 mares for 85 live foals in his first season in Australia, produced 94 foals from 131 covers the following season and also served 131 mares last year.
