Inglis has released the catalogue for this year's Chairman's Sale
Foxy Frida, Classique Legend's dam, an Group 1 producers Via Africa and Breakfast In Bed are among the late entries to this year's Chairman's Sale catalogue, which Inglis released on Tuesday.
The May 9 sale comprises 79 lots, all but 10 of which are aged 10 or younger with 56 Stakes performers or Stakes producers to be offered, including 40 pregnant mares on either their first or second cover.
Group 1 winners She's Extreme, Pennyweka, Spright and Startantes are lots that had previously been promoted as being offered, along with top filly Kimochi, Melbourne Cup placegetter High Emocean, Steinem, Hope In Your Heart and C'est Magique.
Joining them are Foxwedge six-year-old Foxy Friday, a Group 3 winner and Group 2 placegetter, hoe was a late entry alongside Encosta De Lago mare Pinocchio, who is the dam of The Everest winner Classique Legend.
Pinocchio will be offered in-foal to I Am Invincible.
Via Africa, the dam of not only Golden Rose winner In The Congo but also $1.8 million The Autumn Sun filly who topped last year's Inglis Easter Sale, will also be offered, along with King's Legacy's dam Breakfast In Bed, who is in-foal to Anamoe.
Other mares in-foal to come of the world's best stallions, including Frankel, Snitzel, I Am Invincible, Zoustar, Extreme Choice, Kingman and Justify, will be offered along with sisters to Think About It, Star Witness and Loving Gaby form part of a catalogue Inglis is thrilled with.
"It is so incredibly rare that so many good fillies and mares would come up for public auction in a given year anywhere in the world – let alone all in the one place on the one night – so it is really very exciting,'' Inglis Bloodstock chief executive Sebastian Hutch said.
"The Chairman's Sale has grown into a must-attend event in a very short space of time.
"I think it's fair to say it's recognised as the most enjoyable evening on the Australian sales calendar, it's a lot of fun, effectively a cocktail party with a horse sale added in which is a concept the marketplace has really warmed to.
"We've received wonderful support for this year's catalogue again. Every lot makes significant appeal in its own particular way.
"It's a boutique sale and we're thrilled with the variety and depth of quality on offer, it's a sale sure to attract engagement from every major breeding operation in the world."
Following the Chairman's Sale, the Australian Broodmare Sale will take place on Friday, May 10.
