Peter Moody had more than a few people checking for recent trailers from his stable after Day 1 at this year's Inglis Premier Yearling Sale back in March.

The Pakenham trainer paid $650,000 for a filly by Snitzel out of Charleston Dancer, who turned out to be the top lot from the opening day and the equal second highest-priced lot of the sale.

The yearling filly is a half-sister to She Dances, a daughter of Street Boss that Moody has prepared to win seven of 14 starts and two Stakes races, but also an unraced younger member of the family he also has in his care.

"We've obviously got the half-sister in She Dances at home and we've got the two-year-old full sister at home, too, who we've got a lot of time for," Moody said at the time.

That sister is Bridal Waltz, who will make her debut in the $150,000 Cattanach's Jewellers 2YO Handicap (1100m) that launches Saturday's Caulfield card.

Bridal Waltz is out of the Lonhro mare Charleston Dancer, a daughter of Group 2-winning Rubiton mare Innovation Girl who is also the dam of Bold Bastille's dam Chloe In Paris.

She had already trialled twice before Moody bought the $650,000 filly and has had two additional Pakenham jumpouts, the latest producing an eight-length win over 800m on April 30.

With Luke Nolen sticking with Stanley Express, whom he partnered to victory in the $1 million The Showdown on April 27, She Dances' regular rider Linda Meech will take the reins aboard Bridal Waltz who will jump from the outside barrier in the field of nine.

Bridal Waltz has been well-backed in early markets and is now outright second favourite behind Stanley Express.
