Upset Group 1 winner the third Stakes victor for Bell River’s Reset mare.
Another Prophet was not the first member of her family to win in Stakes grade, but she did become its first Group 1 winner when she won last Saturday's $1.5 million Thousand Guineas.
The Ciaron Maher-trained filly is out of the Reset mare Set To Skelter, a sister to Listed Bagot Handicap winner Module, who has had five to race with all of them winners.
Her first two foals, Prophet's Thumb and More Prophets, were both Group winners.
Prophet's Thumb won the Group 2 Rubiton Stakes (1100m) in 2021, having earlier readjusted the Randwick 1100m track record when a winner of the Listed Fireball Stakes in 1:01.67 in 2019.
That daughter of I Am Invincible was followed by Smart Missile filly More Prophets who won last year's Group 3 Dark Jewel Classic (1400m) and the Listed Mona Lisa Stakes (1350m) in 2021.
Both More Prophet's and Prophet's Thumb raced in the same colours as Another Prophet, who was bred and is part-owned by Bell River Thoroughbreds.
Six-time winner Go Troppo (Hinchinbrook) and four-time winner Set To Prophet (Extreme Choice) are Set To Skelter's others to race, while those to come are the Bivouac filly Bell River last year sold to James Bester for $250,000 at Magic Millions this year and the Harry Angel filly she had on September 13 this year.
Another Prophet's Thousand Guineas win was also a triumph for Darley stallion Brazen Beau, who has now sired three individual Group 1 winners.
Previously, his only other Australian Group 1 winner was this year's The Galaxy winner Zapateo, while he is also the sire of former Kiwi star On The Bubbles.
