Pariah was retired to stand alongside his late father Redoute’s Choice (Danehill) at Arrowfield Stud in the Hunter Valley, where his fee for his first year was set at $22,000 (inc GST). 

A winner of the Canonbury Stakes (Gr 3, 1100m) on his first start, Pariah then finished second in his next two appearances in the Blue Diamond Prelude (C&G) (Gr 3, 1100m) and Blue Diamond Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m). 

On his first start as a three-year-old, Pariah landed a high-class renewal of the San Domenico Stakes (Gr 3, 1100m), before following that victory up with a second-placed finish in the Run To The Rose (Gr 2, 1200m). 

Purchased by James Harron Bloodstock for $700,000 at the 2016 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale, Pariah is out of three-time winning Hussonet (Mr Prospector) mare Secluded.

Secluded herself is a daughter of Listed winner Cloister (Marauding), making her a half-sister to dual Group 1 winner Melito (Redoute’s Choice) and the dam of stakes winner You’re So Good (Savabeel). 

Pariah covered 143 mares in his first year and he has 28 lots catalogued at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
