The Peter Snowden-trained runner beaten under a length when first up and is likely to take plenty from that outing and prove very hard to beat.

The winkers go on first time for the blinkers and despite drawing awkwardly in barrier 9 he did push forward last start from a similar draw and is likely to do the same today.

The son of flying Spur has now placed in four of his five career runs and showed ability in metropolitan company last preparation.

The three-year-old gelding rates well on weight adjusted Timeform ratings and Christian Reith, who has been riding well goes back on board.

Bon Temps is the clear top pick in this race and should be chalking up his maiden win in this.

Sparkling To Win who placed at Canterbury last start looms as the main danger and expecting the David Payne runner to be fighting out the finish with Bon Termps.

He has drawn to get a good run in barrier 4 and a repeat of last starts effort will see him hard to beat.

Pairing these up for the quinella could add a bit of value if Bon Temps was sent out too short.

Sparkling To Win will be ridden by the in form Blake Shinn who maintains the ride and despite backing up quickly should go well in a race like this.

Outside of these two Bob’s Destiny appears the best each way chance, dropping back in grade after running seventh at Canterbury.

The Bjorn Baker-trained runner raced greenly on debut but should have taken plenty from the run and the drop back in grade will suit.

His trial form prior to that debut run was very good, winning on two occasions and the addition of the blinkers is sure to sharpen him up. Stays under notice here and can’t dismiss despite a moderate debut showing.

Red Rascal showed ability on occasions last preparation and resumes from a spell in this. Best form rates well and from the inside draw he should get a good run and after the trial will be forward enough.

Does not appear to be a great deal of chances outside of these in the race and despite the track now in the slow category, breeding suggests Bon Temps should get through it okay.
