Waterhouse Runner A Beautiful Chance At The Farm

3 minute read

She’s Bella will look to kick off her preparation in winning style when stepping out at Warwick Farm today over 1100m.

The Gai Waterhouse-trained runner was last seen when fifth behind Guelph in the Group 1 Flight Stakes (1600m), beaten 3.6L on that occasion.

She’s Bella also has form around Champaign Cath when she was third in the Listed Reginald Allen prior to the Flight Stakes.

The daughter of Sebring drops well back in class today but also drops back in trip to 1100m.

Having won over 1000m at Kembla Grange last preparation and running well enough in a recent trial at Randwick over 733m, She’s Bella should spring well fresh and her best form rates well clear on weight adjusted Timeform ratings.

Tommy Berry stays on board and from barrier 2 should get a good run and take plenty of beating in this.

Oxford Heart resumed well when runner up at this C/D last start behind Lyric and has a good career record.

Has shown good ability in similar company to this and both career wins have come when second up previously. Looks the main danger today with Nash Rawiller going back on board.

Sweet Kiss also stays under notice, having placed in both runs this campaign, runner up at Canterbury just last start.

Has failed to win a race in over a year but has shown enough to suggest she can play a role here and make her way into the finish.

Outside of these there appears to be a couple of each way chances which includes the resuming Gust Of Power.

Steps out for new yard today and her form was solid enough last campaign in similar company.

Firelighter fought on well to finish third at Canterbury last start and can build on that here whilst country trained runner Ho Rhythm can make the step up in grade and feature in the finish as well.

With the track currently rated slow, She’s Bella has proven from one start when third at Rosehill she can handle the going and looks in a different class to these.
