The Joe Pride-trained gelding was a dominant winner at Kembla Grange on resuming however second up could only manage fourth in a strong form race behind Sarajevo.
The performance still possessed merit though and looks suited dropping back in grade for Wednesday’s Cellarbrations 3YO Benchmark 67 Handicap (1250m).
Mr Bogart is the clear top rater of this field on weight adjusted 12 month figures having finished second in the 2014 Skyline Stakes (1200m) last autumn.
