The well bred Beauty Is should be breaking her maiden status in Race 3 at Tamworth on Monday.
By Group 1 winning mare Absolut Glam, Beauty Is a half sister to Group 3 winner Jazz Song.
While yet to break maiden status, Beauty Is herself has shown glimpses of promise during four career starts.
The daughter of Redoute’s Choice produced a closing second over 1200m at this course 13 days ago and can go one better third run from a spell in the 2tm / 92.9 Maiden Plate at Tamworth on Monday.
Beauty Is looked to be crying out for more ground last start and she gets it here up to a mile.
Her first outing for trainer Rodney Northam returned a Timeform rating of 68.
Such a performance rating already has the filly rating on top in this field and further in her favour is the fact she possesses a master Timeform rating of 81 returned when placing at Kembla Grange over 1300m for her prior trainer Gai Waterhouse.
Seemingly the most progressive runner of the field by some way, expect jockey Robert Thompson to have the rising four-year-old positioned prominently from a mid draw.
It should be a case of third time lucky this campaign for Beauty Is.
Sticking with the younger gallopers in the 2tm / 92.9 Maiden Plate appears the way to go.
Kissed By The Sun has been solid in both runs back from a spell and last start ran second at this course over 1400m.
On Monday she will be fitter again third up, appreciate rising in trip and has drawn to receive all of the favours in transit from barrier 2.
The Encosta De Lago filly has improved with each of her three starts since a forgettable debut at Kembla Grange.
The penny has seemingly dropped this campaign and must be respected in this field which is clearly lacking in depth.
Exitozo was at least running on fairly at Tamworth last start over 1400m in the same race as Kissed By The Sun.
He needs to find improvement but has less convictions than a majority of runners in this field.
Overall, Beauty Is gets the nod in Race 3 at Tamworth on Monday.
