Monday is a holiday in France and to celebrate there will be the exciting Jaques le Marois over the straight mile with Goldikova going for G1 #15.

She's going to start odds-on, but she did get beaten in this race last year, and there is some strong

competition here mostly coming from Mutual Trust, going for consecutive win #5. He's around 3.00 in

France. Dick Turpin and Sahpresa are on around 11, but Worthadd, the star Italian runner, could be

value in multiples at 12.0.

On Sunday there's the G2 Pomone- Haras d'Etreham over 2500m for the girls with the Aga Khan's

Shamanova around 3.00 ahead of Rock My Soul, trained by Andre Fabre for his wife and Sarah Lynx at

6.00.

The Gontaut-Biron is G3 over 2000m with 7 to run led by the wonderful Cirrus des Aigles - he'll be odds-

on for this with City Leader around 4.00 and Ransom Note, for B&M Hills, also a chance.

The Monday card also has the very competitive Grand Prix de Deauville with 20 runners for the straight

mile Handicap. Sharp pins to the fore or you could for stablemates Best Dating and Yes I Do or Lustre.

The Gauiillaume d'Ornano has the lovely Golden Lilac at 2.5 for the 3yo 2000m contest. Slow Pace is

very close to her in the market at 2.75, and her stablemate Galikova also could be in this.
