Because of the smoke covering all Los Angeles.

While Santa Anita itself is not in the main fire danger area the smoke has seriously hit air quality and stable staff have been issued with breathing apparatus and goggles.

Friday's card has been moved to next Thursday 16th and a decision will be made on Friday (LA Time) regarding Saturday's card which has a number of significant races on it.
