Aiden O'Brien aimed Cape Blanco at the Arlington Millions and Treasure Beach at the Secretariat with 100% success in the G1 features.
The third G1 on the card, the Beverly D, saw Stacelita win for new trainer Chad Brown, who took over
from the late Bobby Frankel, the only trainer before Saturday to claim 2 of the 3 G1s. Dubawi Heightsheld on for second in a tight finish with River Jetezz - a margin of a head separating them, with Fantasia
fourth. Both Stacelita and River Jetez ran on lasix for the first time, as did both the O'Brien runnersalthough Cape Blanco ran on lasix at his last American outing.
Treasure Beach was challenged by Ziyarid but managed to just get ahead in the closing stages to win by
a neck but this was a great run for Ziyarid at this level. Banned came third despite nearly pulling Gomez'sarms off, with Willcox Inn fourth.
The Millions was all Cape Blanco - he had the race run quite a way from home with the actual margin 2
1/2 lengths to Gio Ponti. Dean's Kitten was third and Wigmore Hall ran well for fourth.
