Trailblazer sat in third spot in the Kyoto Kinen until the turn into the home straight where he charged to the front and nobody caught him.

Dark Matter was two lengths behind in second, and Hiruno d'Amor ran nicely for third in her first run since last September with Tosen Rai fourth.

Next weekend is the first G1 in Japan for 2012 so hopefully it will be on TV in Australia.
