Early mail and best exotic plays for Rosehill on Saturday from racing editor Chris Scholtz.
ROSEHILL SATURDAY
RACE 4 (2) LONGSHOREMAN: Well travelled gelding finds this race third up and looks ready to peak after eye catching Sydney debut when he hit the line hard over 1400m on the Kensington track on November 23 in stronger company. Seems to race best with his races spaced and should respond well to the strength of new rider Nash Rawiller over this extra trip.
RACE 6 (5) LIMES: Showed the benefit of his recent racing when he found form at Randwick last Saturday for an excellent second in the G2 Villiers when a touch unlucky. The move to restore blinkers to his gear is a significant move and he looks the right type to appreciate the quick seven day back up from an ideal draw.
RACE 8 (8) SKIP TOWN: Never far from the money and looks close to another win after two excellent placings over 1200m at this course since resuming in similar company. Fought hard when beaten only a neck by Mecir last time from awkward gate and weighted to turn the tables from a better draw this time.
