It seems a pretty easy thing to do but following Azkadellia form is generally a positive action.
Darren Weir’s Tuscan Sling has been flying all campaign and now has had a freshen up since being beaten a head in the Mannerism at Caulfield.
Having beaten the Queen Of The Turf winner two back, it took the whole straight for Azkadellia to run her down eight weeks ago.
That time off should be no issue as her first up record is undeniable. This is the obvious lead up to the Sangster Stakes in two weeks.
Even though she meets the boys here, she won the Christmas Stakes against them over the summer.
Happy to take black odds her.
With a highly impressive debut, Mick Price’s Cry If I Want To has been asked to go straight into Group 3 company in the Auraria Stakes.
She is certainly bred to stay as mum Zarita won races like the Wakeful, Australasian Oaks and South Australia Derby.
She was heavily fancied into favourite on debut which was a sign her ability was well found prior to that first trip to the races at Pakenham.
The daughter of Street Cry went right back then so the gate means she will do same.
Once she wound up, she just exploded away. We should get nice odds this time.
