The Simon Miller trained Regal Gleam chases her fourth straight win on Saturday and while never an easy task we see no reason to jump off the in-form mare.
Due to contest the eighth event, the daughter of Alfred Nobel has continued to raise the bar having proven most impressive at this course and distance last start.
Proceeding to lead throughout on that occasion, Regal Gleam simply proved far too slick for her rivals saluting easily by 3.5L.Since freshened (31 days) she admittedly steps up in grade but appears more than capable of taking that next step and is notably unbeaten over this trip (4/4).
In-form apprentice Aaron Mitchell sticks aboard and will no doubt look to find the front from the awkward draw.Although there is some speed engaged, she still appears to get her own way in front and if Mitchell can pinch a few cheap sectionals, Regal Gleam is sure to be hard to run down.
Better than 2-1 is currently being offered about her chances which we feel presents great value as we have her marked closer to a 6-4 chance.On-pace runners as a rule are high percentage and with all things being equal, Regal Gleam should prove very hard to beat.
In the second event the Justin Warwick trained Someday One Day has received no favours with the wide draw but as a result presents good value.
An eye catcher at his last two starts the son of Von Costa De Hero appears set to peak racing fourth up with the Wizard aboard.His performance behind Andreini last start leaves him well placed at the weights and while he doesn't appear to get the race shape to suit, he still should prove too good.
