The Perth Autumn carnival is upon us and so some classy runners are beginning to appear.

One of those is Action who looks like he needs ground and can settle a little closer in this compared to the runs this time in.

He is bred to possibly be a Derby type and the fact he’s entered in this Listed race suggests he’s on that path.

All he requires is the pace to be solid and he’ll be steaming home under William Pike.

Punters might have done their money on him at shorts odds recently but reckon we can get some back here.

Earlier Jeraft keeps running honest races around this trip and in this class of race and can be stuck with.

The four year old tries hard and would love to see him sit outside lead to offset the wider gate.

He’s not meeting a line-up of much quality and can get away with a race like this again.
