Asterius returning from a mandatory three month bleeding ban with a closing eighth at this course over 1300m last month.
It was a solid display and went to the line untested with a wall of horses in front of him.
Late last season, Asterius was charging through his grades and had put three wins together before receiving the ban.
The son of Sebring finds a race here in which he can get things back on track.
Added fitness second run from a spell and the step up to 1500m will prove beneficial.
The Rosehill 1500m is where Asterius produced his best career win last season and on Saturday the Star Thoroughbreds runner returns to the scene of the crime.
