The promising Star Fall is expected to continue his progression through the grades at Randwick on Saturday.

The Zoustar colt contests the 2019 Membership Quality 3YO Handicap (1100m) after making a winning Sydney debut at this course over 1000m at fortnight ago.

It was a clinical success by Star Fall who put more than two lengths on his nearest rival and one he again faces here in Exceltic.

Sylvia’s Mother currently holds favouritism for the event after taking out what has proven to be a strong fillies and mares form race at Canterbury three weeks ago.

Both placegetters in Alassio and Transmitter have since come out and won again.

Star Fall himself though has seen his form lines franked through his Boxing Day win at Caulfield.

Dead heating behind him for second were Langhro and Mystyco.

The latter has since come out and recorded wins at Caulfield and Sandown while Langhro went on to place in his next start at Flemington.

Star Fall should be at his peak fourth run from a spell and Linda Meech heads to Sydney for just one ride which is a positive sign in itself.

In a small field, Star Fall should enjoy a cosy run in transit and from there take beating in the straight to continue his progression through the grades.

Later in the program, dual Group placegetter Dealmaker resumes in the #TheRaces Benchmark 78 Handicap (1400m).

The Dundeel colt resumes after a spring campaign where he was twice Group placed in both the Group 3 Ming Dynasty (1400m) and the Group 2 Stan Fox Stakes (1500m) where he actually beat home his impressive stablemate The Autumn Sun.

After racing through the spring at Group level, Dealmaker commences his prep well back in grade.

While he has proven to be a carnival level galloper, he resumes against largely off season types and is expected to capitalise.
