A very interesting three year old on the Morphettville card will be our focus bet for this Saturday.
Despite not getting the results, a horse who performed very well during the Spring Carnival in Melbourne last year was the John Hyam trained Last Bullet.
He makes his Autumn return in a sprint handicap against horses who would not be contesting the same level of races he has.
Interestingly the trainer has not gone for a claim which tells you he wants an experienced rider to get him going and the extra weight is not so significant.
Remember this horse rattled home in races like the Danehill Stakes and Caulfield Guineas Prelude before struggling in an on pace Guineas and similarly in the Vase.
He only needs to find room to charge home and recall he won first up last time, albeit in a small field.
A horse who never has much luck in his races but has the ability is Tangier Sun.
The same thing happened resuming when back near last and he charged wide to get within two lengths of the winner over 1100m.
Off this perfect draw, it would be good to see him sit midfield near the inside and try to pick off runs.
The form from his last prep has held up well and he still end up nice value at the current price.
