After Battlecamp last week, we were hoping for some more value this time around.
That won’t be the case with small fields again on offer on the eight race card.
We’re going for Unbreakable as a winner after a return in good order off a Darwin Cup campaign where he was a close second.
He goes around in Race 7 and gets a critical 3kg claim for Justin Huxtable. He was a very competitive horse when with Godolphin and are happy to write off the NT prep now going back to turf.
It is an even race so we might get some decent odds about him, albeit the compressed nature of the weights after the claims don’t help that much.
After stepping up in distance and coming good at the end of last campaign, reckon we can take a chance Silent Warrior can win the last race first up.
He almost broke the maiden doing that last time but the differences here are that he’s now had some wins for confidence and also he’s at 1400m.
This is not a strong race and the claim again for Huxtable means he’s well placed.
Sure he might be better off at near 2000m however he can take up a position or if not will not be that far behind.
