Metropolitan racing heads to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland on Saturday in what offers a competitive ten race card.

The last of the day will see a big field go around in the no metro wins over 1400m and Clockwork Orange looks very well suited off strong recent form.

The Toby Edmonds-trained runner has featured in the placings all three runs this campaign which includes a nice win over 1200m at Doomben last time out.

Steps up to the 1400m today where he does not have the best record from two previous outings in Victoria but is clearly the best horse in the race and from the good draw with Jeff Lloyd on board will be very hard to hold out.

Earlier in the day happy to give Pinch Passion another chance who lines up in the QTIS 3yo Hanidcap over the mile.

Racing much better than recent form suggests, having no luck in the Group 3 Vo Rogue Plate before a fair effort in the Magic Millions last time out, finishing behind Pierata on both occasions.

This a much easier task today and up to the mile where he has run well on both occasions he looks a very good each way bet at $7.50 currently.

Might find himself a touch closer today from barrier 2 with Ron Stewart back on board and this looks a nice race to return to form.
