It is a solid winter card at Rosehill this weekend.
Happy to be staying with I Am Serious as a big chance to back up her win from two weeks ago.
The mare has an outstanding overall record winning six from nine and her previous trainer is still in the ownership showing such confidence in her.
After being ridden forward first up and having to chase early, she was taken back near last from the wide gate second up and it sure helped. Looks to be the case once more.
Able to have time to balance up even though three wide, she got moving 600 out and attacked the line.
She carried a big weight in that win so should handle this again.
For the value we are taking the Chris Waller stayer Sayed to run a race resuming.
Love that he jumped well and showed a little speed in his trial at Warwick Farm on May 21 and finished off nicely.
This five year old has won first up previously and it was over 1850m too. He ended the Spring ending close up in the Wyong and Newcastle Cups when in the betting.
He prefers the sting out of the surface so if the track is soft, that would be perfect.
Waller horses aren’t always aimed first up but he might just have found a race which is very winnable.
