He gets Damian Lane and even going up in weight, this race should be run much more sympathetically to his hopes than the Vic Sprint Final.

He has raced much more forward when racing in Sydney and that would seem a good option here.

It’s certainly the easiest standard race he has contested for a long while. He’s had some support already.

Onto the next and if ever a horse looked like it was enjoying stepping up in ground and on softer footing it is Mussoorie Magic.

The youngster has put two top wins together since running at the Swan Hill carnival.

He’s wound into his races so getting back is his usual play anyway and with a track that is going to have some give, he will be a big factor.

Darren Weir is always hard to beat heading across the border so an up and coming three year old against some of these that have had many chances seems a good formula.
